Sandy Denny

Sandy was a brilliant singer, known especially for her work as lead vocalist with Fairport Convention.

She also had serious personal difficulties. Her condition began to deteriorate badly beginning in 1976 with manic and depressive behaviors and by alcohol and drug abuse. She has a series of falls in 1978 with trauma to her head, which eventually led to her death from hemorrhages following head trauma.
