FulaMuse

FulaMuse is the fusion of two duos: The high energy groove music of the Fula Brothers with the heart opening songs of MaMuse.

The Fula Brothers are Mamadou Sidibe, who has played a critical role in transforming the traditional Wassoulou music of Mali into a world music setting. The ancient hunter's harp was originally only used in hunter's ceremonies in Mali, but now has been transformed into the widely played kamale ngoni. The other half of the duo Walter Strauss plays guitar but brings it to a wide variety of world music genres including the music of Mali, Cuba, and Scotland.
