"No Direction Home" (film)

No Direction Home: Bob Dylan is a 2005 documentary film by Martin Scorcese on Dylan's life and his impact on American music. It focuses on the period from his arrival in NYC to his forced temporary retirement after a serious motorcycle accident. In this period he was introduced to the country as a folk singer songwriter & the controversy around his shift to a rock style of music. 

As of September 2021 the film could be viewed on Netflix.
